VW Transporter
Custom furniture build for a VW transporter including slide out fridge drawer, slide out bed and heavy duty drawer storage

This project starts with building the bed, in this case a slide out slat bed
Where storage drawers will be fitted underneath to make the most of the space, they will be accessible from the back

Next, we cut around a template with a palm router, using a 3mm straight cut bit. Be sure to check the videos of this on our social media!
A slide out cooler drawer?
The owner of this van toyed with the idea of having a slide out drawer for their cool box, we thought this was a great idea, and suggested having a worktop on the top to make more useable space.
We also hand cut the cupboard doors under the bed where the electrical setup is stored

Next up Tom started experimenting by hand engraving into the black hex ply using a palm router.. think he needs some practice on the trees 😅
Electrics!⚡️
Now it’s time to add some power!
We installed a battery charger and a 240v hook up to the pre existing leisure battery
It’s coming together!
The build is complete! Just the cushions to arrive

Cool box storage
The cool box drawer was a hit!
We also installed the electric controls on the side for ease of use
